Peach Green Tea Smoothie

This summer, I’m all about the smoothie life. With humidity levels much higher than this desert transplant is used to, starting off my morning with an ice cold smoothie is refreshing. Smoothies are also great for moving things along since they’re easy to digest (tip: add in a MiraLAX® Mix-In Pax to help with occasional constipation). Plus, my local Walmart has tons of frozen fruit options for me to choose from and carries my MiraLAX® Mix-In Pax. All that to say: smoothies are convenient, easy, and super delicious!

Peach is my favorite fruit, so this Peach Green Tea Smoothie is one of my regular flavors on rotation. I start by adding some chilled green tea (I just use store bought) and a heaping cup of peaches to my blender.

Next I add in about half of a frozen banana and some plain Greek yogurt.

Then I sweeten it up with some honey and add a hint of vanilla.

I add in some ice to make it extra frosty and keep me cool in this crazy humidity!

Then I give it all a good go in my blender until it’s smooth.

When I’m dealing with occasional constipation, this smoothie makes a delicious solution by adding a packet of MiraLAX® Mix-In Pax, using as directed on the box. Peach Green Tea Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup green tea, chilled (store bought is fine)
  • 1 cup frozen peaches
  • 2/3 of a frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup ice

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender and combine until smooth.
